Strong financial growth in the UK provides platform for further European Expansion
Global IT Recruitment company, Talent International (Talent) is embarking on the first leg of its expansion into mainland Europe with the launch of a new office in Amsterdam, building on its recent success and growth across the UK.
The new Amsterdam office will be headed by Clare Trotter. Clare joins Talent having previously grown several successful recruitment businesses across the UK & Europe. Clare is familiar with the technology landscape in The Netherlands having been a resident in Amsterdam for the past 2 years.
Commenting on her Talent and The Netherlands technology scene, Clare said “70% of all Dutch innovation is IT related which is, in part, a result of it being the most digitally connected country in the world. The Netherlands is a fantastic place to live and work and its culture has always provided a natural environment for innovation and creativity to thrive.
Talent’s support of technology-based innovation in the UK and across the globe will be well received and I’m really looking forward to building the business which will provide support to great technology companies throughout The Netherlands.”
Talent EMEA CEO, Jon Butterfield considers The Netherlands as “an incredibly exciting and challenging opportunity”, whilst Talent Founder Richard Earl said: “The flourishing tech scene in Amsterdam is precisely what has motivated Talent to enter this market. We have robust plans over the next 5 years for further expansion globally.”
This expansion includes Talent increasing its European footprint with plans already in place to create a physical presence in Germany early next year on the back of great results servicing the start-up sector in Berlin from the UK.
The European expansion sits alongside ambitious growth into North America following the launch of Talent’s San Francisco office in August this year with further growth planned in other US regions.
