We are pleased to announce our partnership with edtech provider Entropolis which is designed to ignite the entrepreneurial potential of the next generation.
The partnership focuses around creating opportunities for students across Australia to develop and pitch their own business ideas, teaching them to think, act and create like entrepreneurs.
The first initiative as part of the agreement will be Kidpreneur Challenge Unleashed. Launched in 2015, Kidpreneur Challenge is Australia’s biggest and only curriculum-mapped entrepreneurial education program for primary schools. By partnering with Talent, this year’s Challenge will offer even greater opportunities for students.
Subsequent programs will be open to young people from ages 8-16, in conjunction with Talent’s Unleashed program, which supports innovation in the start-up sector.
Talent Founder and Executive Chairman Richard Earl said the partnership was a natural fit.
“At Talent our purpose is clear – we want to unleash potential. We do this through our primary business, through our foundation Talent RISE which creates opportunities for young people with barriers to employment, and now for kids as part of the Entropolis partnership.”
“The Kidpreneur Challenge is about getting more kids into entrepreneurship in a way that empowers and engages them and gives them their first taste of business. We are proud to be associated with such an exciting initiative and the Entropolis team, who are passionate about nurturing early talent and preparing students for the future world of work.”
Entropolis Founder and CEO, Tania Price, says partnering with Talent is a significant step towards achieving their mission to futureproof the next generation by empowering them with transferrable workforce skills built through entrepreneurship.
“We are thrilled to join forces with Talent to celebrate the tremendous innovation capacity and deep entrepreneurial DNA of Australia’s next generation workforce leaders.”
“The partnership adds a new dimension to our Kidpreneur Challenge pitch competition for primary schools and provides us with an exciting global platform to showcase and amplify the experience of talented Kidpreneurs and Futurepreneurs across the country.”
