Rangatahi Mahere Whakapakari Mahi

Talent RISE delivers an innovative program for rangatahi who are NEET. We support our rangatahi by delivering our employability skills strength-based readiness to work program, utilising Te kotahitanga (EFP). This program includes:

// Workshops in communication, health and safety and workplace ethics
// First aid certification
// Self/time management
// Overcoming travelling to work and accommodation barriers
// Financial literacy with AMP and BNZ
// Phone and workplace etiquette
// Health and wellness workshops including Te whare tapa whā
// Interview and CV preparation workshops
// Networking and building relationships
// Noho Marae
// Grooming and work attire with Dress for Success

All of this content is delivered in our corporate environment. When our rangatahi graduate the program, we then provide two weeks' work experience in a corporate environment.

What we've done so far:

Since launching in Aotearoa in 2018, we have supported 19 young people in gaining employment with our clients. We have also positively impacted the lives of approximately 40 young people. With our future plans to soon expand into Auckland, we plan to transform more young lives in New Zealand.

Around the world, Talent RISE has achieved the following:

  • 2400 young people engaged in employment initiatives
  • 170+ young people placed into employment
  • 102 workshops hosted globally
  • 1500+ hours of one-on-one candidate coaching
  • 107 charity partnerships
  • 167 employers approached to hire Talent RISE young people
